Akshardan is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where every student has access to the books they need to succeed.

Our Story

Founded in 2020, Akshardan started as a small community initiative in New Delhi. We noticed that while many students struggled to afford textbooks, thousands of books were lying idle in homes after the academic year ended.

By creating a circular economy for books, we've managed to help over 12,000 students across 15 cities. Our goal is to expand this movement to every corner of India.
